FOURTH SEMESTER

My goals for the fourth semester

Writing

Firstly, I would like to improve my writing skills in general, since I have a lot of subjects dealing with writing this semester (critical reading, bc thesis, British literature, etc.) To properly achieve and measure this goal I will try to contribute to forums, do my papers, seminars, and presentation regularly.

Speaking

And secondly, as every semester, I would like to improve my speaking skills. I don't have a hard time understanding others, but when I am to speak, I tend to jam in my speech, and thus I really need to improve it! I will try my best at other contact seminars (if there will be any this semester) interacting with classmates and the teachers as much as possible.

Listening & reading

As each semester before the current one, I will focus on listening and reading a lot. I plan to listen to at least 5 audiobooks this semester (1 for a month) and read many sources about politics, hockey, etc. on the internet. Also, I will be reading a lot of books for other classes, such as British literature and Critical reading.
